Fire & Ice
Fireman Do It Hotter book #1
by Cheyenne McCray
Firefighter Grady Donovan, spots Chelsey Daniels teaching at the local ice skating arena. The sexy former international champion has curves in all the right places, a smile that lights up the room, and a personality to match. She causes a five-alarm blaze inside him that only she can put out.
When Chelsey meets gorgeous firefighter, Grady Donovan, he seems perfect for her. However, when she learns of his dark past, it puts the skids on their growing romance.
Grady is nearly killed as he rescues victims from an apartment fire, and it brings back terrible memories for Chelsey. She doesn’t think she can go through losing another man she loves to a dangerous profession.
Can she overcome her fears to embrace love again?
Fire-fighter & Ice-Skater...Fire & Ice...YES!
I love the premise of this story...sexy fire fighter falls head over boots for the curvy figure skater. Grady spies Chelsey at the rink and waits for her to ask her out. Because of her past relationship, Chelsey is very insecure about her feelings for this man. These two have such a spark between them, it's a wonder my e-reader didn't catch fire.
I fell for these characters right away, especially Chelsey...yes, she is insecure about her feelings~justifiably so~ but, I adored her because she isn't insecure about her physical appearance. And Grady...well, what more can I say other than...sexy fireman!
Thank you Cheyenne McCray for another fabulous book that I just couldn't put down. Fire & Ice...what an amazing start to a new series!
Don't let her sweet, "normal" expression fool you. Cheyenne is as twisted as they come.
Twisted.
Her favorite Disney characters aren't the princesses or princes. Noooo. She has collector dolls of Maleficent. Captain Hook. Ursula. Cruella de Vil (in two designer outfits). Jafar. And then there's the Wicked Queen...holding someone's heart in a box.
Chey doesn't just kill off demons in her books. She's been known to off certain individuals—they deserved it, of course.
Usually.
And who is one of her favorite characters that she's written?
Darkwolf from the USA Today bestselling "Magic" series... Yes, Darkwolf. Really. Who else would she bring back but a warlock whose heart is too black to forgive what "good" witches did to him?
Cheyenne has snatched him out of exile, a time and place from which he never should have been freed.
Oh, Chey does play at being normal in her everyday life. Sometimes...when she's not maniacally delving into her writing.
She has three grown sons, none of whom appear to be as twisted as she is. But never mind that—no one is perfect. She has three sweet dogs—about all the sweetness she can handle. And an adorable grandson. Okay, so adorable is fine when it comes to him.
