Although part of a series, Nobody But You can be read as a stand-alone book. Once again Jill Shalvis has me gushing about one of her books, you have heard of comfort foods ~ I think of a Jill Shalvis book as a comfort book & I absolutely adored Jacob & Sophie's story.
Jacob is a little bit broken and has come home on leave to heal himself and to mend fences with family members. Sophie has been crapped on, put down, & taken advantage of by her ex husband, despite all that, Sophie is determined to make a new life for herself. Neither one of them is looking for love or long term anything, but the fireworks between them in undeniable. Together they balance each other out so perfectly well. This story is super sweet & sexy with just the right amount of humor & angst with one heck of an HEA.
Nobody But You is the kind of book that leaves you with a smile on your face and a warm spot in your heart!
