the greatest rock band that ever was!
I absolutely adore this series and was so excited for the release of Sultry Groove and Sean's story!
Sean is Reckless Beat's (not so little) drummer boy and he has always felt like the world doesn't see him behind his drum kit. Melody has been in the public's eye for years and she has her reasons for hiding from her adoring public now. One wants to be all out there for everyone to see and the other wants to hide in the shadows...can this work for Sean & Melody?
Sean & Melody's story had me laughing one minute and teary-eyed the next. During this read I felt a gamut of emotions~happy, sad, angry, worn-down, silly, sexy, relieved~It's a damn good book that can take you on a wild ride of emotions.
Eden Summers may have created a fictional rock band for this series, but, her writing brings these characters to full life. The interactions between the characters and the real-world problems they face within their story-lines makes the reader feel like they are an actual by-stander watching these people live their lives. This to me is the best kind of book! A book where you "see" the story play out in your minds eye and feel what the character's feel!
