Yay!!! Finally Brandon & Sophie's story...I've been looking forward to this one for awhile.
Brandon has returned to his hometown and opened Hope's Crossing with his best friends, a place to rehab & retrain former military dogs. Sophie was Brandon's high school sweetheart & best friend and was devastated when he left for the military just after HS. Now that he is back in town Sophie has decided to put aside her hurt feelings and give their friendship another go.
When Sophie's life is in danger, Brandon thinks that because of the company he keeps and past aggression's towards him and his "team" that it is all his fault. He swears to protect her and find the people responsible for the attempts on her life. This situation forces them into isolation and also into admitting that the spark between them never died.
Once again, Piper J Drake, creates a world of action, adventure, and lots of spicy romance with her fabulous words in Absolute Trust!
Now, Piper writes romantic suspense, incorporating her interests in mixed martial arts and the military into her writing.
