Some of their fantastic authors were willingly interrogated...
...oh... um ...sorry, interviewed by me.
Check out what they had to say....

First up on the chopping block...

Author of Lash, Sam Crescent.
·         Why don’t you tell us a little about yourself….
I always struggle with talking about myself but I’ll give it a go. I’m Sam Crescent and my passion is for romance of the more erotic sort. I love reading erotic romance and writing it. My other passions include cooking and baking. I’ve got an addiction to collecting cookbooks and I have a fear of frogs.
·         What is one thing about you that your readers would find surprising or never guess about you?
Again this is a hard question to answer as I have no idea. Some are shocked to find out I’m a woman and not a man lol.
·         Tell us a little about your latest book?
Holly’s Awakening is my current release and is the second book in my Creek Valley series. Here is a blurb:
Kade and Steven have been waiting for a woman to complete their family. They’ve been friends their whole lives but they want a woman to share. No woman has captured their attention until Holly Walker comes to work for them.
Holly is quiet. She works hard in order to help her brothers and sisters. The money she doesn’t use for them is taken from her by her father.
Together, Kade and Steven awaken Holly, caring for her and loving her. Kade is a Dom and he takes over making decisions while Steven loves her completely in his own way.
Can Holly truly give herself to two men? She's only used to depending on herself. Steven and Kade have a battle on their hands to make her their woman.
Be Warned: menage sex (MMF), bondage, anal sex, spanking, m/m sex

·         What are you currently working on?
I have multiple works in progress. I’ve got two different projects started with the wonderful, Jenika Snow. I’m also working on the next book in my The Skulls series. I usually just write what the muse wants and where she takes me.
·         What’s one thing that you enjoy most about writing? Least?
I love creating characters and building stories. It’s liberating to let loose on a sheet of paper and let your thoughts take hold. I love making what seems impossible, possible. For me, the writing is the best part of the whole process.
My least favorite would have to be the actual promoting. I always struggle with promoting my work. I do it because it’s necessary, at least I believe it is but I try not to go overboard with the promoting. I’ve heard a lot of different view on promoting and I try to make it balanced.
I prefer interacting with readers about books as I’m a reader as well. I love diving into a good book.
·         How would you describe your writing process?
It’s a bit all over the place. I’ve got multiple notebooks I keep around for notes. Sometimes I open a fresh word document and just start writing and I note take as I go. Other times I’ve put my thoughts down on paper before planning.
·         Who is your favorite author that you enjoy reading?
I’ve got so many authors I love to read but here is just a few;
Jenika Snow, Madeline Sheehan, Jamie Begley, Stacey Espino, Heather Rainier, Delilah Hunt, Sophie Oak, Chloe Lang
·         Do you have anything due to release soon?
I’ve got two books releasing soon: Against All Odds from my Shifters series and Owned by Him from the Friends, Men, and Secrets series.
Quickie Questions-
·         Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate?
I love dark chocolate.
·         Leather or Lace?
Lace, it has to be.
·         Junk or Health Food?
A bit of both.
·         Hard or Soft? Mattress, that is!
Soft mattress.
·         What’s your favorite drink?
Coffee (I don’t drink alcohol).
·         What is on your nightstand?
My kindle, my phone and a spare notebook.
·         3, 4, or more? Books in your TBR pile!
Lot’s more books, possibly over a hundred more.
·         Long & slow or hard & fast?
Depending on the mood as both gets the job done.
Author Bio:
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011.

She loves creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
The Skulls, 1
No one messes with The Skulls and gets away with it!
The last thing Angel Marston ever wanted was be at the mercy of The Skulls. They’re the local bikers and the club that helps keep the town safe, but they have their own kind of rules. They party hard and do whatever the hell they want. But her father’s debts to the club mean Angel has no choice.
Lash loves his club, but he wants a woman who hasn’t slept with all the crew. Angel is just what he’s looking for. She’s sweet, young … and a virgin. He wants her more than anything and has already staked his claim on her.
When Lash touches her, Angel can’t help but melt. He sets fires inside her body with his wandering hands and sinful lips. She can’t say no, and she wants him desperately.
But when all seems to be going so well for Angel and Lash, their pasts catch up to them. The Skulls have enemies who want the town and their women. Lash must decide who to put first, the club or his woman. Is Angel strong enough to stand by his side when the going gets tough? And what will happen when tragedy and pain both hit at once?

OK... Next in the spotlight wil be.....

Author of Storm Season, Nicola Cameron

·         Why don’t you tell us a little about yourself….

I live in the clavicle of Texas (400 miles above the heart) with my husband The Engineer and three insane cats, who more than make up for the fact that we have no kids. I also write science fiction and urban fantasy, which is why readers will usually see those elements in my erotic romance. I also really, really, REALLY like to knit, quilt, and build dollhouses -- you wouldn’t believe my craft room.
·         What is one thing about you that your readers would find surprising or never guess about you?

I’m not a natural redhead. Then again, I believe that being a redhead is an attitude, not a phenotype.
·         Tell us a little about your latest book?

Grading the Curve is a MF contemporary Romance on the Go story (yeah, yeah, I know -- me writing MF? I was shocked, too) about a college student on the eve of graduation and what happens when she finds out that her favorite professor (and fantasy object) feels the same way about her. Hot sex! Angst! Monty Python jokes! It’s all here.
·         What are you currently working on?

I have three major WIPs on my desk: the MMM fantasy erotic romance Breaker Zone (Book Two in the Olympic Cove series), a MM SF caper novel called Two to Tango, and a MMF time travel Romance on the Go story called Pharaoh’s Desire.
·         What’s one thing that you enjoy most about writing? Least?

My favorite part of writing is finishing a story, because I get the absolute best natural high from it. Least favorite is coming up with blurbs.
·         How would you describe your writing process?

I’ve learned to be a plotter with the longer pieces -- it’s just necessary for me to know where I’m going and how things are going to develop. It also allows me to jump around in the story and write individual scenes when I’m not in the right headspace to work on the next linear scene in the book.
·         Who is your favorite author that you enjoy reading?

Sir Terry Pratchett. I’d read his shopping list with pleasure.
·         Do you have anything due to release soon?

Not at the moment, but I’m hoping to submit Two to Tango before October, so stay tuned!
Quickie Questions-
·         Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate?
Dark, especially with raspberries
·         Leather or Lace?
Leather all the way. Remind me to tell you about the time I went to the Rubber Ball in London dressed as Tietania, Queen of the Bondage Fairies, complete with leather ball gown.
·         Junk or Health Food?
Define health food. I like freshly made stuff and oven-roasted veggies -- does that count?
·         Hard or Soft? Mattress, that is!
Pillow-top all the way.
·         What’s your favorite drink?
Alcoholic, it’s absinthe. Non-alcoholic, Lipton’s Diet Raspberry Iced Tea.
·         What is on your nightstand?
A complete collection of Sherlock Holmes, a lamp, an alarm clock, three books, three remote controls, a bag of crocheting, and my earplugs (the Engineer has a deviated septum, poor thing). Oh, and a certain amount of dust.
·         3, 4, or more? Books in your TBR pile!
London Falling by Paul Cornell, The Atlantis Gene by A.G. Riddle, Hope Heals by Tymber Dalton, and Let’s Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir) by Jenny Lawson.
·         Long & slow or hard & fast?
I’m old -- long and slow is more my speed these days.

Author Bio:

Nicola Cameron is a married woman of a certain age who really likes writing about sex. When not writing about sex, she likes to knit. Well, it’s true!

Okay, okay, the full version: Nicola Cameron has had a healthy interest in sex since puberty, but it wasn’t until 2012 that she decided to write about it. Turns out that the skills picked up during her SF writing career transfer rather nicely to erotic romance and erotica — who knew? When not writing, she wrangles cats, makes dolls of dubious and questionable identity, and thanks almighty Cthulhu that she doesn’t have to work for a major telecommunications company any more (because there’s BDSM, and then there’s just plain torture...).
Olympic Cove, 1
Ian West has his summer all planned out—go down to Florida, stay in his family’s beach cottage on Olympic Cove, and work on his first novel. But his plan gets thrown for a loop when he meets mischievous twin sea gods Bythos and Aphros and discovers he’s their fated consort.
As if that wasn’t enough, something in the Gulf of Mexico is turning mermaids into legendary monsters and gods into demons. Now, Ian not only has to finish his book and navigate the complicated waters of a ménage relationship with twin sea gods, he also has to stop an insane deity from turning the planet into a wasteland.

And last, but certainly not least.....

Author of Lick is a Four Letter Word, Erin M Leaf

·         Why don’t you tell us a little about yourself…. I just learned what a turkey vulture looks like (from a few feet away!), I can speed read, I love dark chocolate and hate white chocolate, I am terrified at the thought of singing in public, and I’ve never wanted to be anything else except a writer.
·         What is one thing about you that your readers would find surprising or never guess about you? I write a lot of ménage romance, but I’ve never been in one myself!
·         Tell us a little about your latest book? My latest ménage is Lick Is A Four-Letter Word. I had an enormously fun time writing this book. My Four-Letter Word series is based around chance encounters, so maybe you can guess what happens when my heroine, Felicity, is locked in a small salon room with two guys? I mean, what could possibly go wrong in that situation? Especially when one of them loves lollipops and they’re all dressed in paper sheets?
·         What are you currently working on? The book I just started writing is a zombie apocalypse—22 year old Lark is trapped in her dorm room with her roommate and zombies are scaling the outside walls. Thank goodness her roommate’s dad, Benedict, and his best-friend, Dillon, are coming to rescue them. Many sexy-times happen in-between lopping off zombie heads.  I swear I can make it sexy. Trust me.
·         What’s one thing that you enjoy most about writing? Least? I most love putting down the very first scene. It’s where I begin to learn about my characters: what motivates them, how they respond to calamity. I dislike revising. It’s very necessary, but all the suspense goes away once I know what happens.
·         How would you describe your writing process? I begin with the characters-always. As soon as I know what they look like and who they are, I put them into a situation and see where they take me. Sometimes I’ll outline a little in the middle of the process and add some foreshadowing, but mostly I write straight through to the end.
·         Who is your favorite author that you enjoy reading? I have way too many favorites to pick! This is a trick question, isn’t it?
·         Do you have anything due to release soon? My next book with Evernight Publishing will be Mr. Rockstar. As you can probably tell from the title, it’s a rock star romance: Isabelle is pretty sure Mr. Rockstar, Vin Clementine, is her one true love, but his celebrity lifestyle freaks her out. What's a shy, introverted girl to do when someone that famous comes to her rescue?
Quickie Questions-
·         Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate?
Ha! Dark, of course. (I totally didn’t read this question before I answered the first one. I swear!)
·         Leather or Lace?
Mmm, soft buttery leather, hard shiny leather—I love it all.
·         Junk or Health Food?
Health food. Except for potato chips. Chips are nirvana and I would die without them.
·         Hard or Soft? Mattress, that is!
Uhhhh, neither? I like that memory foam stuff.
·         What’s your favorite drink?
Water with lemon (yeah yeah, so boring)… Or wait! I love mojitos, if we’re talking alcohol.
·         What is on your nightstand?
My e-reader. Water. A silk scarf from Las Vegas.
·         3, 4, or more? Books in your TBR pile!
Dear Lord, please save me from my ginormous TBR pile because it’s getting scary…
·         Long & slow or hard & fast?
Everything all the time simultaneously for as long as possible.
Author Bio:

Erin M. Leaf is a romance novel devotee, the steamier the better, with a specialty in edgy erotic tension. She also writes romance as Marie E. Blossom.

Four-Letter Word, 3
Felicity isn’t looking for love. Since her husband died several years ago, she’s been happy with her quiet life. Josh and Troy aren’t looking for a girlfriend, but losing a bet leads them into a tiny salon room with a broken lock and a nearly naked blonde named Felicity.
When Josh, Troy, and Felicity keep getting locked into small spaces together, the heat between them goes from a spark to an inferno. Felicity isn’t sure she wants to try dating two guys at once, especially when she’s white and they’re not, but there’s no denying the attraction. The two men grapple with their sudden and unexpected need for her, and each other.
Will a secret from Felicity’s past push them away before they come together? Will Josh and Troy be able to convince her they’re serious and that their love is hers for the taking?
