Synopsis

He wants the world and the admiration of everyone in it.

Sean Taiden, the inconspicuous drummer of Reckless Beat, is sick of living in the shadows of his bandmates’ success. He’ll do anything to gain the recognition he deserves. Even if it means dancing in a music video to the Reckless track that drives a knife into his broken heart whenever he hears it. The saving grace is the tempting choreographer who may be the one person able to distract him from the agony his life has become.

All she wants is the peace that comes with solitude.

Melody Jenkins knows all about fame. She knows enough to determine she doesn’t want a part of it anymore. After quitting her professional dance career, she set up a quiet studio and focused on starting a new beginning away from prying eyes. Until a sexy drummer strides into her life, making her crave something she can’t have while also pushing her to expose secrets she can’t bear to reveal.

Conflicting aspirations and one inextinguishable passion.

She needs to hide from the world she once owned. He wants to rise to the top, proving to himself and his friends that he’s always been the heartbeat of the band. Caught between what they need and what they want, Melody and Sean have to decide which is more important—their individual plans for the future or their feelings for one another.

Interview with Sean Taiden

What is your name?
Sean Taiden

How do you dress most of the time?
Casual. Jeans. Cargos. Anything comfortable and usually something to show off my guns in the warmer weather.

What do you wear when you go to sleep?
Not much.

Where do you live?
My penthouse apartment in Richmond, Virginia is my favorite place. It’s clean and stylish…because I pay people to make sure it stays that way.

What one word best describes you?
Shadow

What is your favorite memory from adolescence?
My first live gig. I was caught between pissing my pants and snorting vomit out of my nose. It was only at a local bar and I was underage.

What do you watch on the Television?
The music channels but I always switch off the gossip segments. They’re always full of shit.

What annoys you more than anything else?
Mason Lynch.

What's your favorite animal?
Probably a Koala. While we were touring Australia I got up close and personal with one. They are so cute and pretty much spend their entire life high on eucalyptus. Did you know they can give you chlamydia?... Ahh… that’s just a fun fact… Not something I learned from the up close and personal experience. Next question??

Do you have any pets?
Touring life doesn’t really allow for it. But I’ve always wanted a dog. A big one.

What do you find most relaxing?
A beer and a movie. Or a beer and… pretty much anything.

What was the wildest thing you've ever done, sexually?
There’s a sex tape roaming the internet at the moment. It may not be the wildest thing I’ve done but it sure was the stupidest.

Is there any sexual activity that you enjoy and/or practice regularly that can be considered non-standard?
I like a little pain with my pleasure. I wouldn’t say I’m heavily into any type of kink but I’m not against any either.

LUCKY'S CHOICE
The Last Riders #7
Jamie Begley
Releasing July 29th, 2015
Young Ink Press

Life dealt him a dead man’s hand.

Lucky had always led a life of service, always putting his life on the line for someone else, managing to survive by pure luck and skill. After bringing an end to a multi-state drug ring, he was finally able to live the life he had wanted as a Last Rider.

A good man would walk away and not touch the curvy woman who had been tugging on his heartstrings. Lucky wasn’t a good man. Therefore, the bad-ass biker in him had a choice: once again become the man he had pretended to be and stake his claim or take the devil’s highway.

Some girls had all the luck.

Willa wasn’t one of them. All she wanted to do was give a home to the children she had made orphans. Instead, she found herself needing help from the man who had left the pulpit behind to embrace a life of sin.

Painfully shy and withdrawn, she wanted a quiet life, a simple man, and well-behaved children. The last thing she had ever expected was for Lucky to want her size twenty body and show her a passion that would lead her straight to hell.

Review:

I have read all of The Last Riders books and really, I had no idea what to expect with Lucky's Choice. When reading a series, I become very attached to characters and as Pastor Dean, I really liked Lucky and was so looking forward to his own book. But, WOW, as Lucky (in the beginning of this book) I was so not impressed with him. Willa too for that matter, she kind of annoyed me.  Then as I read on things improved greatly.

At first, Lucky "tagging" any and all willing females (we expect this to a point in this series but~Really?)and at the same time was shoving Willa so far away that you don't think there would ever be a chance for them to get together. I was quite surprised and  pleased to see Willa stand up for herself, it was very redeeming in my eyes, and made me like her a whole lot more! And yes, we actually do find out why Lucky was pushing Willa away all the time.

I had a very herd time deciding what to write for this review, I don't like to give out spoilers ~ AT ALL! I want everyone to know I am a huge fan of the series and it really did take me a bit to settle in and enjoy this book. If you are a fan of the series all I can say is hold on and read this to the end you will be pleased!

Tasty Book Tours Interviews Lucky & Willa from LUCKY’S CHOICE

Lucky and Willa are sitting at the picnic table in the backyard of the Last Rider Clubhouse

Tasty Book Tours: So Willa, inquiring minds NEED to know the recipe for that Peanut Butter Candy?

Willa: I can’t tell you, because I wouldn’t be able to bribe Rider to take out the trash.

Tasty: Both of you spend a good amount of time fighting your feelings for one another, Lucky when was the "Aha" moment where you just knew that she was the one?  What about you Willa?

Lucky: I knew Willa was the one the fist time I tasted her …frosting.

Willa elbowed her husband sharply in the ribs.

Willa: I knew Lucky was the one when I saw him standing behind the pulpit at church. It should be a sin for a preacher to look that good.

Tasty: Willa, has Lucky been able to play out any more of your fantasies?  (The one from the book still has me cracking up)

Willa blushed bright pink.

Willa: Viking’s.

Tasty: Willa, do you ever think you will feel comfortable with the 'Open Door' policy at the Clubhouse?

Willa: Uh..No.

Tasty: Lucky, what are three of your favorite things about Willa, and what three things surprised you the most about her?

Lucky: My favorite things about Willa are her frosting, her faith in both God and me, and that my dick is her personal gym.

The three things that surprised me the most about her is that she can quote practically the whole Bible, her temper, and that my dick is her personal trainer.

Tasty: Willa, which is your favorite Lucky...A Shirtless Lucky, A Naked Lucky or a Jeans, Tee and Boots Lucky?

Willa: That’s easy, naked.

Tasty: I can't tell you how happy I am that everything finally worked out for the both of you.  I wish you many years of happiness!

Lucky & Willa: Thank you.

"I was born in a small town in Kentucky. My family began poor, but worked their way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work, and education.
Taking after my mother, I've always love to cook, and became pretty good if I do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I absolutely love the holidays and my family puts up with my zany decorations.
For now, my days are spent writing, writing, and writing. I have two children who both graduated this year from college. My daughter does my book covers, and my son just tries not to blush when someone asks him about my books.
Currently I am writing five series of books- The Last Riders, The VIP Room, Predators MC, Biker Bitches, and The Dark Souls.

Q&A with Shade and Lily of SHADE’S FALL

Lily and Shade are sitting on the couch in their new home.
Lily, a year ago, did you ever see yourself with a guy like Shade? (No offence to you Shade, but…You are the worst of the lot…hee hee)  What was it about him that finally changed your mind?
“A year ago, I could not imagine that I would be attracted to a man like him. He can be a little rough around the edges when you first get to know him. I began to become attracted to Shade because of his tattoos, they told me about the man he kept hidden inside, that and the shower it was a package deal.”

Shade, what was the defining moment where you finally said “enough with the other women, I will do whatever I need to do to have her”?
“When she almost died during the robbery at Sex Piston’s shop.”
Lily, how did you deal with the jealousy over the women members of the Last Riders? (Especially that Bliss, always getting herself in trouble)
“I prayed. A lot.”
Shade, when you finally opened up to Lily about…well…everything that you hadn’t been truthful about, were you afraid that she wouldn’t be able to trust you after that, or did you know that things would work out as they did?
“I opened up and told her the truth because it was in my past, I knew she would forgive me, she is the most loving woman I have ever known. What I didn’t want was for her to find out about my past without me telling her, she expects honesty from those she loves.”
Lily, now that you are settled in your life, what are your plans?  Social Worker?  Still planning to run the Church store?
“Yes, I love my new job. I actually feel like I’m helping more people through the Church store. I wanted to be a Social Worker to help children in need and through the Church store I can actually help them more than I would being constrained by the government position I would hold.”
Shade, the men of the Last Riders have really thrown me for a loop a time or two, do the other men have surprises up their sleeves as well?
“I think Train may have a surprise in store for the readers.”
Lily, are you officially a member of The Last Riders? (You don’t have to share with us how you gained your votes…wink wink)
“Thanks to Shade and the IOU’s that everyone owed him, I am now a member of The Last Riders.”
Shade, have you started working on getting that baby in Lily’s belly?
Shade grins. “I don’t shoot blanks.”
Any parting words for all the Shade and Lily fans?
“My patience paid off and in the end I got the girl.” Lily smiles at her husbands words, reaching out to take his hand in hers. “I won the prize, I got the guy.”

My favorite book I have written is Soul Of A Woman, which I am hoping to release during the summer of 2014. It took me two years to write, during which I lost my mother, and brother. It’s a book that I truly feel captures the true depths of love a woman can hold for a man. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I am an emotional writer who wants the readers to feel the emotion of the characters they are reading. Because of this, Teased is probably the hardest thing I have written.

All my books are written for one purpose- the enjoyment others find in them, and the expectations of my fans that inspire me to give it my best. In the near future I hope to take a weekend break and visit Vegas that will hopefully be this summer. Right now I am typing away on my next story and looking forward to traveling this summer!”
